Our Story

Linked by blood (nothing weird - we’re cousins) and our shared love for Gin, food and all things tasty.

 

Being avid Gin connoisseurs – between us we have tried or own over 100 gins from around Australia and the world. In our attempt to enhance our gin experience we are always on the search for wonderful additions to the delectable beverage. Dehydrated fruit and fresh herbs really top the list.

 

At The Dehydrated we really believe that the additions to a good quality gin (or any cocktail) really enhances the already great tastes of an excellently made beverage, and elevates the overall experience. The key is the quality, freshness and care taken behind the scenes to offer the best.

 

But, for those that are not into gin (what????) or perhaps are trying out a dry month or three…. There are so many other uses.
 

The addition of dehydrated fruit to the icing of a cupcake or a birthday cake just raises the overall look from “yeah not bad, not bad’ to a “Oh wow! You made that????”. Impressive huh?

 

Not a sweet tooth? If you love making your own candles or soaps – welcome to the world of decorating with dehydrated fruit. Let’s face it – sure beats those stock standard cookie cutter candles and soaps you see everywhere!

 

Planning a wedding and wanting something decorative to tie everything together be it your bonbonniere, centrepieces or even your napkin holders (the devil is in the details!!) – have you thought about tying it all together with dehydrated fruit.
